Pic2SVG is a hosted image-to-vector tool for designers, makers and developers who need editable paths from existing artwork. Upload a logo, drawing or image, preview the trace, and download an SVG to inspect in a vector editor. Presets help balance detail and path complexity. The engine uses deterministic tracing; it does not generate a replacement image from a text prompt. A useful starting workflow is a clear logo or flat illustration: trace it, inspect small islands and letter shapes, and remove unwanted background paths before preparing a cut file. Transparency becomes a white background shape, and lettering becomes outlines. A traced file still needs checking for the intended cutter or application; it is not a tested machine toolpath. Tracing, previews and SVG downloads are free without an account for personal, noncommercial use. Starter remains personal-use; Pro covers commercial work and Advanced adds resale rights. New website accounts receive seven days of Pro without a card. Paid website plans offer PDF, EPS, AI (EPS-based) and DXF exports. Developers can also use the Node20+ MCP server or CLI for SVG tracing within a separate daily API allowance; those tools upload images to the hosted service.
